The Madrid was created for those days when you want to head out without spending too long choosing. Modern, effortless, and practical, it has the feel of that favorite bag you reach for without thinking twice.

The Madrid design sat stored on an iPad for over ten years until it was rediscovered by chance. The old idea matched what customers were looking for: a casual bag for everyday use. Their response led to the creation of other sizes.

Having a light inside the bag had been Juliana's wish since the brand's inception. After years of looking for a discreet solution, the Madrid was chosen to bring the idea to life. The availability of this feature is indicated in the specifications of each variant.

Juliana nicknamed Madrid the “Coca-Cola bag”: that favorite you want to choose again and again. The sentiment spread among customers and reflects the bag’s purpose: to earn a place in everyday life, not just on special occasions.
Our Story · Since 2009
From a first design in Belo Horizonte
to the runways of London.
At 23, Juliana Calori designed her first bag, which won an award in a competition organized by the Estado de Minas newspaper. The creation led to an invitation to work at Luiza Barcelos. She decided to forge her own path and start her brand.
A {E}PORTARE was born in the backyard of the founder's parents' home in Belo Horizonte. Production began with the challenge of finding skilled labor to turn the designs into pieces. Gradually, customers from other states arrived. From 2015 onward, Instagram helped bring the creations to more women.
The Minas Gerais-inspired designs were presented at different seasons of London Fashion Week, in Doha, and at a luxury rental store in Berlin. In Paris, the brand received an award at the Best of Brazil in Europe event, held at the Eiffel Tower.
"It's not just about bags. It's about self-esteem, happiness, and well-being." The founder's words summarize the intention behind this journey. It appears in the easy-to-open clasp, the strap that rests comfortably on the shoulder, and the care taken to create a piece that becomes part of the life of the person who uses it.
