Each bag is cut and sewn by hand, with attention to the leather, the interior, and the finish. Color availability depends on the batches of leather that arrive from the tannery: a color may return to the collection in a new batch. Our Story · Since 2009
From a first design in Belo Horizonte
to the runways of London.
At 23, Juliana Calori designed her first bag, which won an award in a competition organized by the Estado de Minas newspaper. The creation led to an invitation to work at Luiza Barcelos. She decided to forge her own path and start her brand.
A {E}PORTARE was born in the backyard of the founder's parents' home in Belo Horizonte. Production began with the challenge of finding skilled labor to turn the designs into pieces. Gradually, customers from other states began to arrive. From 2015 onward, Instagram helped bring the creations to more women.
The Minas Gerais-inspired designs were showcased at different seasons of London Fashion Week, in Doha, and at a luxury rental store in Berlin. In Paris, the brand received an award at the Best of Brazil in Europe event, held at the Eiffel Tower.
“It's not just about bags. It's about self-esteem, happiness, and well-being.” The founder's words summarize the intention behind this journey. It is reflected in the easy-to-open clasp, the strap that rests comfortably on the shoulder, and the care taken to create a piece that becomes part of the life of the person who uses it.
