Versailles reflects the brand's appreciation for chain bags and timeless designs. For Ms. Haydee, choosing hers with her daughter was a way to celebrate life. A personal wish that gave the piece even greater meaning.

Versailles was born from a love of classic chain bags. In the brand's history, it also became a special keepsake: Carolina's message about her mother, Mrs. Haydee, wishing to choose a bag to celebrate life.

Mrs. Haydee and Carolina chose a Versalhes together.
According to Carolina, Mrs. Haydee spent her 81st birthday in the hospital and, upon waking up, asked for the bag she had wanted. After being discharged, mother and daughter chose the medium caramel Versalhes together, celebrating this new chapter.

The pleasure of fulfilling a wish is also part of the story.
For Mrs. Haydee, choosing Versalhes was linked to the desire to go out again, get dressed up, and enjoy outings. The memory kept by the brand shows how a piece can gain meaning in the life of the person who chooses it.
Our Story · Since 2009
From a first design in Belo Horizonte
to the runways of London.
At 23, Juliana Calori designed her first bag, which won an award in a competition organized by the newspaper Estado de Minas. The creation led to an invitation to work at Luiza Barcelos. She decided to forge her own path and start her brand.
Aos 23, Juliana Calori desenhou sua primeira bolsa, premiada em um concurso do jornal Estado de Minas. A criação trouxe um convite para trabalhar na Luiza Barcelos. A decisão foi seguir um caminho próprio e começar a marca.
A {E}PORTARE was born in the backyard of the founder's parents' home in Belo Horizonte. Production began with the challenge of finding skilled labor to turn the designs into pieces. Gradually, customers from other states arrived. From 2015 onward, Instagram helped bring the creations to more women.
The Minas Gerais-inspired designs were showcased in different seasons of London Fashion Week, in Doha, and at a luxury rental store in Berlin. In Paris, the brand received an award at the Best of Brazil in Europe event, held at the Eiffel Tower.
“It's not just about bags. It's about self-esteem, happiness, and well-being.” The founder's words summarize the intention behind this journey. It is reflected in the easy-to-open clasp, the strap that rests comfortably on the shoulder, and the care taken to create a piece that becomes part of the life of the person who uses it.
